Overview
WICS is an inventory control system which is linked to ASYCUDA++. It allows shop
operators to do the following:
1. Receive and rack stock directly from the ASYCUDA++ warehousing(IM7) entry.
This debits the bond in WICS.
2. Make adjustment to the stock racked.
3. Finalize the stock racked if there are no errors or allow Customs to finalize
the stock if there are shortages and overages.
4. Upload the stock sold. Note that shop managers can request a special profile for
shop clerks which will only allow them access to upload receipts.
5. Request assessments for the stock sold to allow the preparation of ASYCUDA++
entries.
6. Finalize the assessment request from 5 above. These are the enrries for stock
sold. It will credit the bond in ASYCUDA++ and also WICS.
In addition, shop operators can view their bond details in WICS, cancel receipts
for returned stock and allow Customs to adjust the stock after a stock assessment
has been carried out.
